My Wig!!

Hi lovelies! If you know me then you know I am constantly switching up my hairstyles. I love trying new colors and lengths but this can become damaging to your hair. This is why I started investing in wigs! They have absolutely changed my life because I am not manipulating my own hair as much and it gives it time to breathe and grow. Some think wigs are only for those who do not have a lot of hair but that is completely untrue! Its a nice way to try a new style without drastically altering your own hair and you can be a different version of you whenever you want! This post is to show my growing collection of wigs and as I get more I will post those as well.

One of the first wigs I got was my blue baby Suzie. Its called the Freetress Equal Lace Front Wig Suzie (Deep Invisible Part) in the color OTTURQUOISE. I ordered it from ebonyline.com and it was $33. The originally parting is a side part but you are able to do a middle part if you choose so. It is a synthetic wig so after a while it started to tangle, which is when I just cut it shorter and I was able to get even more wears out of it. I would not recommend it for an everyday wig (most of the wigs I purchase are not everyday wigs just because I wear my natural hair out more often) but if you take care of it you will get a lot of uses out of it. It does tangle pretty easily and there is a lot of shedding but its not unmanageable.

If you haven’t noticed I love bold hair colors. This one is Trinity, the Freetress Equal Silk Base Lace Front Wig Trinity in the color OTPURPLE. I also ordered this one from ebonyline.com and it was $46.95. You can also manipulate the part on this one, the lace allows you to do a lot with it. It does tangle slightly and there is a lot of shedding. When I first got it I had to straighten the roots a bit because they were slightly bumped but it did not need that much work otherwise. Like the previous wig, this one is synthetic so I would not recommend this for daily wear for a long period of time but it does last a relatively long time.

This is one of my more recently purchased wigs and one of my favorites. This is The Wig Brazilian Human Hair Blend Invisible Deep Part Lace Front Wig LH-Ocean in the color 2. I bought this wig from samsbeauty.com for $49.99. It is extremely long which is one of the reasons why I love it. It came in the waves in the left picture but after a while it started to tangle really badly so I straightened it with my blow dryer and got many more uses out of it. This is also a wig I would recommend cutting after a while because you can get more uses out of it that way. This wig does not allow you to part it in different ways but you can move the wig itself to wear different parts. It does shed a lot but after I straightened it it did not tangle as much. Again, not for long term daily wear.

This is also a more recent purchase, ISIS Human Hair Blend Lace Front Wig Brown Sugar Soft Swiss Lace BS216 in the color 1B. I bought this wig from samsbeauty.com for $34.99 and I really like it. Its a nice length and its not thin. It has minimal shedding and it does tangle easily but nothing one cannot handle. It is set as a middle part and the lace is not large enough to alter it so I personally wear it more to the side because I prefer a side part. This wig may get more wears out of it than my others because so far it has held up better but that may be because it is a straight wig and not curled or wavy.

I hope I gave you all some good ideas about future wig purchases! What type of wigs do you all have? What are some of your favorites? Let me know in the comments, also let me know what else you would like to see on the blog!
