Graduation Style

It’s #GradSZN! Congratulations to all of those who recently graduated! No matter if it’s from high school, college, grad school, or any other institutions, you should be extremely proud of this accomplishment. This is an exciting and also scary time, but remember, if you made it this far you can do anything.

Since graduation is such an important time it is also important that one looks great for the occasion. I had two graduation ceremonies so I was able to have two different looks for the days.

This first dress was the Reach Out My Hand Navy Blue Lace Slater Dress from Lulu*s. I love the halter top to this dress and the lace trim that goes around the arms, middle, and skirt. It was the perfect dress to wear to my Black Graduates Recognition Ceremony and it got a lot of compliments. I paired it with one of my favorite pairs of shoes from Lola’s Shoetique and of course my Kente Stole.

My second dress was the Love Poem Yellow Lace Dress, also from Lulu*s, and I am absolutely in love with this dress! We all know yellow is my color and since gold was the accent for my graduation gown I thought it was perfect to wear yellow underneath it. The lace overlay on this dress was beautiful and it also had a halter top similar to my other dress. I paired it with a basic pair of black flats because my graduation was on our lawn and I did not want to sink into the ground.
